Owen Davies

Owen joined Purcell’s London studio as a Part II Architectural Assistant in 2024, following work on a number of heritage projects across Hampshire and Berkshire including a 15th century hall house, a Lutyens-designed country estate, and the Grade I-listed Founder’s Building at Royal Holloway .

The thesis written for his Master’s degree, exploring the methods through which buildings are capable of recording their own histories, has been published in the DEPARCH Journal of Design, Planning and Aesthetics Research, and was used as a foundation for his proposals to adapt and repurpose a derelict Georgian mansion in Nottingham’s Lace Market.
